Hill House Farm bridge, in the foreground, is complete, but work is in progress to install the sign gantry in front of it. To the left, Brindle borrow pit - from which material was excavated to form motorway embankments - has been decommissioned and appears to have been landscaped. It will now be returned to farmland.
