A lot has happened here in just a few months. Traffic through the interchange is now passing under the completed bridge on the east side of the roundabout, which now allows the original line of the A674 to be broken up and the other bridge to be built. On the right, the A674 towards Blackburn has been diverted to its new course. On the left, the A675 Bolton Road takes a convoluted course to allow reconstruction of its approach to the junction.
