M61 interchange, view east (see all photos of the same view)

This picture gives a closer view of the viaduct across the M61. The bridge deck is in place and its parapets are now being formed. At the far end of the viaduct, on the left, a short section of new parapet can be seen; strewn across the bridge deck are metal brackets that will support the shuttering while concrete is poured on the remaining sections.
